Golden Yoshi's Island is a ROM Hack of Yoshi's Island built to be played for live audiences in a speedrunning setting. It's a modified version of SMW2+2 by Golden Yoshi (with his full consent). Yoshi's Island: Kamek's Revenge, commonly referred to as Kamek's Revenge or YIKR, is a Yoshi's Island hack by S.N.N. The original version was released on September 29, 2007. It was inspired by the bonus level 5 of the same name from the original game. In late 2016 BTD6_maker took over the project, releasing version 2.0 with a completed Extra 5 and various other fixes in March of 2017. The most recent release of Kamek's Revenge was on February 06, 2018.

SMW2+ is the first ever full ROM hack of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It has 54 brand new levels.
