The headline change in this patch focuses on the Arena. Everstone Studio is shifting matchmaking priority to favor same-server connections within your Battlegroup. For those of us who have lost a duel due to a sudden ping spike, this is a massive win. By prioritizing local server matches, the game should feel significantly more responsive during high-stakes martial arts encounters.
Interestingly, the developers have also clarified how cross-region play will work going forward. If an Asian player joins a US Battlegroup, the match will now be hosted on the US player's server. This clear hierarchy helps manage expectations for latency when playing with friends across the globe.
Beyond the network tweaks, several progression bugs have been squashed. Players who were stuck on the "Consume 300 Stamina" Battle Pass quest can finally claim their rewards, as the completion error has been resolved. Additionally, the elusive Throwing Knife quest item for the "Stranger Kin" quest is finally obtainable, allowing players to finish that narrative thread without further headache.
Other minor fixes included in this update:
- Resolved various interface display bugs.
- Fixed unobtainable item errors across multiple side activities.
- General stability improvements for the Ten Kingdoms open world.
While not a massive content drop, these quality-of-life fixes ensure that the core loop of combat and exploration remains fluid as we move deeper into the current season.
