For many Huntsman players, the automatic zoom while aiming was a double-edged sword, often making it difficult to maintain situational awareness while lining up headshots against a charging Chaos Warrior. In this update, Fatshark has decoupled the zoom from the primary aim. You can now aim freely, and if you need that extra precision, a dedicated Weapon Special button press will activate the zoom manually. This change makes the career feel much more versatile in the heat of a horde.
Beyond the bow changes, the patch addresses an unintended nerf that had Elven players frustrated. The Hagbane Shortbow’s Charged Shot stagger has been restored to its intended levels. This is a vital fix for Kerillian players who rely on that stagger to keep Elites at bay. The update also cleans up several technical issues, including:
- Fixed a crash triggered when Illusionist monsters spawned their clones.
- Resolved bugs affecting Sienna’s Mace and the Axe & Shield combo.
- Corrected various talent and stagger interactions that weren't firing properly.
While the patch stabilizes much of the experience, there is one known issue remaining: a crash can occur if friends join your session before you've fully loaded into the Keep. The developers are already working on a follow-up hotfix to squash that particular bug. For now, the focus is on a smoother combat flow and getting the Huntsman's kit back into a competitive, comfortable spot.
