The most impactful change for top-tier CAS (Close Air Support) pilots is the removal of the combined use restriction for Laser and TV seeker munitions on the MiG-27K and MiG-27M. Previously, your loadout options were stifled by arbitrary limitations on mixing these seeker types. Now, pilots can tailor their ordnance more freely, allowing for a mix of precision-guided bombs and missiles that can handle varying battlefield conditions in a single sortie.
For ground forces, the BMPT and BMPT-72 "Terminator" have received a much-needed pass on their damage models and systems. Gaijin has updated the internal and external cannon belt separation logic. This isn't just a visual fix; it changes how the vehicle reacts to incoming fire. Furthermore, a frustrating bug where the Fire Control System (FCS) remained active even after the Power System was destroyed has been squashed. Combined with the fix for the missing ATGM stabilizer, the BMPT should feel much more consistent in high-intensity brawls.
Supersonic pilots flying the F-106A will notice a significant buff to their landing capabilities. The drag chute rip-off speed has been increased from 220 km/h to 320 km/h. This 100 km/h buffer is a massive quality-of-life improvement, allowing for much earlier deployment during the landing roll without fear of losing your primary braking method.
Finally, the update addresses several map-specific issues. Spawning bugs on Franz Josef Land have been resolved, and the playable area mismatch on the European Province map has been corrected to ensure the tactical map actually aligns with where you can drive.
