The Skopós changes are clearly designed to reward aggressive positioning. Beyond the speed boost, she's gaining Aruni’s signature punch, allowing her to manipulate the environment without burning utility. By reducing the activation time for her shells, Ubisoft is making her feel less clunky and more reactive during high-pressure site takes.
Ballistic Shield players are facing a significant mechanical nerf. Operators like Montagne, Blitz, and Fuze can no longer simply push through full-HP barricades to shatter them instantly. This change forces shield mains to actually interact with the environment or rely on teammates for entry, removing the 'human battering ram' meta that often felt uncounterable in solo queue.
On the weapon front, Twitch’s F2 is finally getting some love to help manage its notorious kick. The addition of Vertical, Angled, and Horizontal Grips should make the high-DPS rifle more viable for players who aren't recoil-control gods. Meanwhile, Flores is expanding his arsenal with the T-95 LSW, providing a more sustained fire option for his kit.
Utility deployment is also seeing a quality-of-life bump. The Observation Blocker deployment time has been slashed from 2.5 seconds down to just 1 second. While Ubisoft is keeping them non-throwable to maintain their role as tactical site setup tools, the speed increase makes them much more viable to drop mid-round when you need to cut off attacker intel lines quickly.
