The centerpiece of this update is the new map, "Urban Blight." Set within the decaying ruins of Rockbridge, this environment shifts the focus from open wastes to dense, vertical combat. You'll be navigating through cramped apartment complexes, murky sewers, and debris-strewn streets. It’s a claustrophobic departure that forces teams to rethink their positioning, especially with the introduction of the Hornet.
The Hornet is a new airborne enemy unit that adds a terrifying layer to the tactical meta. Unlike the ground-based shamblers we're used to, the Hornet can swoop down to grab players, lifting them into the air before dropping them from lethal heights. Dealing with these while navigating the tight corridors of Urban Blight will require much tighter squad coordination and better situational awareness.
To help even the odds, the Toxic Commandos are getting a massive gear dump. The arsenal expansion includes:
- Thunderbolt OEP: A high-voltage primary for crowd control.
- Heartstopper Carbine LAC: Precision fire for those tricky mid-range encounters.
- New Melee & Heavy Options: Fresh katanas and heavy ordinance to keep the sludge at bay.
Beyond the carnage, Saber Interactive is finally rolling out PROS Cross-Platform Save Transfer. By linking your account via PROS, you can now sync your progress across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s a huge quality-of-life win for players who move between platforms but don't want to leave their leveled-up commandos behind. Jump into the PTS now to provide feedback before these features hit the live servers.
