The most significant mechanical change in this patch targets Stinger. The unintended movement speed boost from the Hive-Tech Pistol has been removed. In a tactical shooter where positioning and rotation speed are everything, this nerf ensures that Stinger mains can't bypass standard movement penalties, bringing the operator back in line with the rest of the roster. If you were relying on that extra mobility to win peeks or escape bad rotations, you'll need to adjust your timing immediately.
For those grinding Operation Gold, the safe search time has been extended to 45 seconds. This optimization is a double-edged sword: while it gives teams more time to secure high-value loot, it also creates a longer window for attackers to interrupt the process. It raises the stakes for defensive setups, requiring more disciplined communication to hold the perimeter during the extraction phase.
New Events and Gear
The update also kicks off a series of time-sensitive events and store additions:
- Iron Dame Lucky Draw: Running until June 27, this features high-tier appearances for the SR-25, SCAR-H, and Desert Eagle.
- Mid-season Supplies: From May 29 to June 4, players can claim daily login rewards including supply selection packs to bolster their inventory.
- Weekend Merit Boost: Starting May 30, a dedicated boost event will help players recover or climb the ranks faster.
The update rolled out as a client-side patch with no downtime, though you will need to restart your game to see the new event tabs and applied bug fixes. Keep an eye on the Tekniq Alloy Store as well, which sees a refresh alongside the Warfare Weekly Supplies.
