As Dylan, players will wield the Aberrant, a shapeshifting melee weapon that looks to be the centerpiece of the game's combat loop. The environmental destruction we loved in the first game is still present, but it’s now being applied to city streets and skyscrapers. With a release targeted for 2026, it’s clear that Remedy is pushing the physics-based chaos to its limit. If you enjoyed the lore of the Faden siblings, seeing Dylan’s perspective on the containment failure adds a dark, necessary layer to the expanding universe.
