The most immediate shift affects high-level CWL play. Starting next season, the modifier setup for Titan III and II will now mirror the Legend II configuration. Meanwhile, Titan I and the Legend League will adopt the Legend I setup. This is a clear move to standardize the competitive experience as players climb the ranks, ensuring that the jump from Titan to Legend doesn't feel like a completely different game.
On the balance front, the Giant Arrow is getting a massive specialization change. It now deals double damage, but only against Air Defenses. This makes it a surgical tool for air-heavy strategies rather than a generic damage dealer. We're also seeing nerfs across the board for the Dragon Duke, Fire Heart, Sky Wagon, and Dragon Rider to bring their power levels in line with the current meta. If you've been relying on the Dragon Duke's targeting, be prepared: a June update will lock the Duke's interaction with Flame Blowers to always target the Duke's initial direction.
Looking ahead, the developers are finally addressing the "equipment gap." A new catch-up mechanic for leveling Epic Equipment is in the works, designed to help newer or returning players reach competitive levels faster. This is huge for the long-term health of the game, as equipment has become a massive part of hero power. There's also a "monolithic" new Epic Equipment on the horizon, alongside a fresh Event Troop that should spice up your offensive raids in the coming weeks.
