The most immediate change players will feel is the lethality of armored warfare. Tank gun damage for 120mm and 125mm APFSDS rounds has been bumped from 6 to 8. In a game where every shot counts, this significantly lowers the time-to-kill for main battle tanks, rewarding better positioning and first-strike capability. However, moving your armor into position now carries more risk for your infantry; squads now inherit 50% of the stress damage when their transport is hit, making the "taxi" meta much more dangerous for the troops inside.
Artillery spam, a long-standing point of contention in the community, is also seeing a heavy nerf. Resupply times for artillery units have been doubled. This change forces players to be more selective with their barrages rather than blanketing the map in constant fire. To compensate for the increased danger on the front lines, infantry can now resupply and heal while dismounted if they stay near allied armored transports, giving mechanized infantry builds a much-needed sustainability boost.
The air combat layer has undergone an extensive overhaul as well. The update introduces adjustments to SAM ranges and aim times, alongside a more robust anti-overkill system to ensure missiles aren't wasted on targets that are already doomed. Combined with targeted buffs to the Baltic Battalion specialization—specifically fixing MG3 resupply issues and RBS-70 targeting priorities—the meta is shifting toward a more balanced, combined-arms approach where no single unit type can dominate without support.
