In the narrative of Battlefield 6, Cairo has become a flashpoint for Pax Armata's destabilization efforts. This update doesn't just add a map; it addresses long-standing community feedback regarding soldier visibility. Update 1.3.2 introduces a refined visibility filter, making it significantly easier to distinguish enemies from the debris-heavy environments of the urban ruins.
Vehicle mains and infantry players both have plenty to digest. The Portable Mortar is getting a massive health nerf, dropping from 250 to just 50 health. This makes counter-play much more viable—a single well-placed grenade or a short burst of fire will now delete annoying indirect fire positions. Meanwhile, Attack Helicopters are being buffed with a default Radar System, though they'll face new anti-air missile threats to keep the air-to-ground meta in check.
For those dropping into the BR, the rotation is shifting. Solos return on June 9 with a leaner 80-player count and the removal of Main Battle Tanks to focus on pure gunplay and movement. Duos will cycle back in on June 16. Perhaps the most player-friendly change is the progression buff: Battle Pass XP is now 2.5x faster, and weapon attachments unlock 50% quicker, significantly lowering the barrier for new players to catch up to the current meta.
