The gameplay blends fast-paced shooting and traditional platforming elements. The protagonist is equipped with a powerful sword capable of firing energy bolts, providing ranged combat options. A defining feature is the rocket pack, which grants the ability to fly for short distances, adding verticality and unique traversal opportunities to the levels.

A notable addition to the movement set is a short-distance rolling dash, allowing players to quickly evade attacks or traverse tight spaces. This combination of aerial mobility, projectile attacks, and ground-based maneuvers forms the foundation of the action.

Story and Setting

The narrative centers on the defense of Eginasem, a land populated by opossums, against a militaristic wolf invasion force. The threat is compounded by the involvement of the protagonist's rival, Axel Gear, who is actively aiding the invaders. The ultimate goal is to defeat the enemy warriors and robots, confront the rival, and stop the leader of the wolves, Generalissimo Lioness, from launching a warhead capable of obliterating the planet.

What determines the game's conclusion?

A significant feature of this title is the branching nature of its ending, which is directly tied to the difficulty setting selected at the start of the game. On lower difficulties, the conflict concludes after a battle with the rival knight, Axel Gear. However, selecting higher difficulties extends the adventure, continuing the story through additional stages to face the true leader of the invading army.
