This title was a planned remake of the 2003 action-adventure game, designed to modernize the experience for current consoles and PC. Gameplay centers on acrobatic platforming, puzzle-solving, and combat, all integrated with the distinctive mechanic of manipulating time via the Sands of Time to rewind errors or gain tactical advantages. While aiming for visual and control modernization, the project intended to preserve the original narrative structure and core level design. However, following multiple delays after its 2020 announcement, Ubisoft officially cancelled this remake in January 2026 to focus on future franchise entries.
