The gameplay loop centers on infiltration, exploration, and intense combat within the sprawling interiors of the Minecrawlers. Players navigate complex, multi-tiered environments, utilizing a variety of specialized tools and weaponry to overcome obstacles and hostile alien forces.

A defining feature of the experience is the player's primary mode of attack: the Sniper Mode. When activated, the perspective shifts to a first-person sniper view, allowing Kurt to precisely target weak points on enemies or environmental hazards from a distance. This mechanic requires careful aiming and resource management, contrasting sharply with the standard third-person platforming and shooting segments required for traversing the levels.

The Mission Structure

Each level requires the player to fight through the Minecrawler until they reach the central pilot. Upon defeating the pilot, the player must quickly escape the collapsing vehicle before returning to Dr. Hawkins' orbiting space station, the Jim Dandy, to prepare for the next incursion.
