The game takes place in Tokyo-To in the year 2024, where the powerful Rokkaku Group is attempting to enforce a totalitarian police state, outlawing freedom of expression. As a member of the GG's, the player joins the resistance, using their specialized in-line skates to traverse the urban landscape. The atmosphere is defined by its striking cel-shaded animation style, which merges futuristic elements with strong influences from 1980s old-school hip-hop culture and 1990s J-pop aesthetics.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

The gameplay loop centers on high-speed traversal and artistic expression. Players utilize in-line skates to grind rails, wall-run, and perform aerial tricks while tagging designated areas with graffiti. Successfully covering rival gang tags and evading the Rokkaku police forces are central objectives across the open-world environments of Tokyo-To.
