The game functions as an online party experience supporting 4 to 10 players. The primary objective is divided based on randomly assigned roles: Crewmate or Impostor. Crewmates must cooperate to complete a series of maintenance tasks distributed across the map to keep the ship functional. The Crewmates win if they finish all assigned tasks before the Impostors eliminate enough of the team.

Conversely, Impostors are tasked with covertly sabotaging ship functions and eliminating Crewmates without revealing their identity. The gameplay loop is defined by this tension: performing mundane tasks while constantly monitoring the actions of others, followed by emergency meetings when a body is reported or a critical sabotage is initiated. During these meetings, players engage in discussion, using voice communication to present evidence, defend themselves, or accuse others.
