Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome

This is an expansion for the 1998 Real-Time Strategy game, Age of Empires, requiring the base game to play. It centers on the rise of the Roman Empire, adding four new civilizations (Romans, Palmyrans, Macedonians, Carthaginians) with a shared Roman architectural set. Gameplay is enhanced with quality-of-life updates like unit queuing, improved pathfinding, and increased population limits in multiplayer. It also introduces five new units, four map types, and new researchable technologies, substantially enriching the core RTS experience.
