This scenario is an enhanced version of the Conquest of the New World Scenario previously released as part of the Spain & Inca Civilization and Scenario pack. The number of civilizations has been increased to 10 and the number of turns has been increased to 150. The deluxe scenario also adds Religion, Trade Routes, Mercantile and Religious City States, new scenario-specific Buildings, Wonders and Resources. Both the Policy Trees and Technology Tree have been expanded and there is a new Victory Point system in place.

The Scrambled Nations Map Pack for Sid Meier’s Civilization V includes ten map scripts based on real-world geographic outlines of specific nations and regions. While each map retains the authentic external shape of its corresponding region, the interior terrain is randomly generated with each playthrough, providing a new experience every time. Civilization V: Scrambled Continents is a map pack DLC for Sid Meier's Civilization V. It introduces maps for different geographic regions around the world with exact outlines. For variety however, the interiors are randomized for each game. The included regions are Africa, Antarctica, Eastern Asia, North and South America, the Middle East, and Western Europe. It also contains new scripted maps for Small Continents and Oceania, plus one map including all of Earth's continents.

The Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: Mesopotamia includes a single-player map based on the Fertile Crescent region. It covers the Nile River valley to the west and extends east along the Tigris and Euphrates river valleys to the Persian Gulf. The map reflects the historical geography of this area. Players can use random leaders or select leaders relevant to the region’s history. The map is also accessible in the World Builder tool for creating custom scenarios.
