Pokémon Prism is a super customized Pokémon Crystal mod that takes place in a previously unexplored region. It contains new mechanics unseen in its inspired franchise, while refining existing gameplay. Boasting an expansive landscape to adventure in filled with unique challenges, fresh areas to explore, and new ways to play, Pokémon Prism is an entirely new experience that gamers of all ages are sure to enjoy! Pokémon Prism was planned to be released on December 25, 2016. It was cancelled several days prior to release, on December 21, following a cease and desist by Nintendo in which all the developer's ROM hacks were pulled offline, but later leaked onto the Internet.

Pokémon Ambrosia is a rom hack of Pokémon Crystal featuring 253 Pokémon from the first 6 Generations, an updated world map, new story, wandering Pokémon, and various quality of life features.

A Digimon rom-hack of Pokemon Crystal. Features all 251 Pokemon replaced with Digimon, the Fairy type, Physical-Special split, running shoes, most HMs replaced with key items, forgettable HM moves, evolution parameters included in each Dex entry, increased difficulty and improved level scaling.

Pokémon Serene Crystal is a hack that strives to change up the original Crystal, with new gym leaders and Pokémon from newer generations, alongside new original regional forms! There have been several QOL improvements that, alongside the new dex, makes for a fun experience! While the story remains largely unchanged, there have been a few minor changes to make some characters feel more coherent. Apart from that, it's identical to Crystal's story.

Pokémon Crystal Legacy is a rom hack made by TheSmithPlays based on the Pokémon Crystal disassembly. The Legacy games attempt to bring each game to it’s fullest potential while retaining the identity of the original.

Gold and Silver 97: Reforged is a totally new re-imagining of the world from the 1997 Spaceworld demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver. Featuring an entirely new campaign and story through the Nihon Region based on all of Japan. Graphics have been totally overhauled to match the look and feel of the final 1999 release of Pokémon GSC, and gameplay spruced up with lots of entirely new content and places to explore.

Black and White 3: Genesis is a hack of Pokemon Crystal Version. It is a sequel to Black 2/White 2 Versions, and takes place in Unova, a number of years following the events of B2/W2. In this game, you play as a young trainer from Humilau City, and will embark on a journey around the region to catch Pokemon, collect Gym badges, and thwart the plans of a mysterious group claiming to be Team Plasma, a terror group that was supposedly disbanded years ago.

The goal of this romhack is to be the ultimate Pokémon Crystal experience for fans, a remaster of sorts: same story (with a few new scenes and dialogue), same Pokémon, same world (with some restored and improved areas), but the game is more playable, balanced and challenging. There’s extra content added too as well as many QoL improvements from music to sprite work to brand new features and battle system improvements!

This 'improvement hack' of Pokemon Crystal has been 5 years in the making. It was created with the mindset of updating Crystal to 'current-gen' standards but without losing the nostalgic feel of the original. The hack has many features that may make playing it more comfortable for newer players such as the "PPS" system (pokeride).

Pokémon Fool's Gold is a ROM hack of Pokémon Crystal. In this game, all of the Pokémon from Gold and Silver (plus a few more) have been reworked in the same vein as regional variants with new types and stats. In addition, there have been a few visual tweaks, and a few new places to explore, too!

Pokemon Kalos Crystal is a sequel to Unova Red. This is a re-imagining of Generation 2, where the first generation of Pokemon was the Unova Pokedex, and the new second-generation Pokemon is the Kalos Pokedex. This game features all Pokemon from generations 5 and 6, and like in Unova Red, all Pokemon in the Pokedex is obtainable within a single playthrough.

Pokémon Perfect Crystal is an idealized definitive version of Pokemon Crystal that has every Pokemon available to catch and to fixes a number of glaring glitches that hampered the original game. It also restores the Celebi and GS Ball events, makes trade evolutions avalaible through evolution stones, makes TMs reusable, and changes opponents' levels to match Heartgold & SoulSilver.

You set out on a journey to deliver the mysterious GS Ball to the esteemed Samson Oak, who is visiting the Orange Islands from the Alola region and to take on the Orange Crew! Play as Indigo or Orange, explore, fight goofy villains and walk into a fresh and nostalgic world to learn more about the wonderful world of Pokémon and to Catch 'em All!

Crystal Clear is an open world Pokémon Crystal ROM hack. The game's gimmick is that Pokémon Crystal has been transformed into a open world game with a scaling gimmick, with various paths being open to allow traversal between both regions without story barriers or TM requirements. Players are able to choose between 30 different starters, ranging from the first two starter trios plus Pikachu, baby Pokémon, and challenge starters like Unown or Smeargle. They are also able to choose between different trainer designs and choose their initial starting town. Gym Battles are scaled based on previous badges, meaning that Gyms always match the Player's overall Progress no matter the order. Pick your starter, your region, customize your character, and then do whatever you want. You can collect all 16 badges, challenge the new E4, catch all 251, rechallenge a gym, visit new places... There's a lot of things to do.

An improved, polished version of Pokémon Crystal. It fixes bugs, takes into account the official game changes since 2001, and adds some new ideas. Many features restore what was removed from R/B/Y, or original to HG/SS.

Pokemon Anniversary Crystal is an extensive ROM hack created for the second anniversary of the Twitch Plays Pokemon stream. It contains a new storyline combining parts of Pokemon Red and Pokemon Crystal, with some new elements. The post-game Kanto portion of the original Crystal has been greatly expanded with new quests. The player is able to catch all 251 Pokemon as well. The gameplay has also been revamped with elements from later games as well. Physical/Special damage split (with new moves from newer games), Fairy Type, Move Re-Learner, EXP for catching have been included. Original game bugs have been fixed, such as with specialty Poke balls. Of note is that the game optionally includes an “Advanced AI” hack. However, this will require a special emulator setup to install, as it allows an external script to analyze the player and enemy data to pick smarter moves for the AI. As RHDN does not permit emulator-specific hacks, that variation of the patch will need to be download at the authors’ site, / . The standard version of the hack, which uses the original AI, can be applied and run in any emulator.

Pokémon Crystal Kaizo is a super-hard mode ROM hack of Pokémon Crystal and the official sequel of Pokemon Blue Kaizo. These titles were inspired by Kaizo Mario World, though the game's difficulty was inspired by Drayano 60's Firered Omega, as well as Pokémon Stadium.
