"The NewZealand Story" is an action game released by Taito in 1988. Take control of the hero TIKI on an adventure to rescue your darling Phee-phee from the leopard seal. Each stage is a sprawling maze. Fight your way to the goal, using balloons for floating action gameplay!

An accurate re-telling of the timeless 1988 original, New Zealand Story Revolution stars Tiki, a plucky Kiwi bird. The gameplay revolves around Tiki rescuing his kidnapped friends from the clutches of a treacherous leopard seal!! The setting for each of the game's levels remains untouched from the original though the environment's layouts have been remixed and re-jigged to provide fresh new challenges. Graphically, the game has undergone an overhaul that updates New Zealand Story's visuals while retaining the clean lines of its arcade ancestor.

When Wally the Walrus kidnaps 20 of your your kiwi pals, you rush to the rescue. As Tiki the kiwi bird, that's not so easy - you can't fly and you wouldn't hurt a flea. But Wally's stashed your friends in dangerous spots all over New Zealand and it's up to you to save them. Beak up, Tiki! Just rely on your quick wit and fast footsies.
