Destiny 2: Beyond Light, uscito nel 2020, è un gioco d'avventura e sparatutto che espande l'universo di Destiny 2. The majority of the violence consists of humans attacking various alien species. However, it is also possible to attack other human characters during multiplayer matches, in which human players attack one another either individually or in teams. Characters react to violence in a realistic manner, making pained noises when injured. When they have been defeated, their bodies remain on the floor for a short time before they respawn.
