","tokens":{"input":2550,"output":187,"total":2737}}Pelaamisen keskeinen elementti on vihollisten vangitseminen puhaltamalla niihin kuplia.
\n\nMerkittävä strateginen osa-alue liittyy useiden vangittujen vihollisten kuplien puhkaisemiseen samanaikaisesti.
\n\nKuplilla on kaksoistehtävä vihollisten vangitsemisen lisäksi.
Vihollisten voittojen ketjuttaminen samanaikaisilla kuplapuhkaisuilla pisteiden maksimoimiseksi kaskadoituvien ruokatarvikkeiden avulla on pelisilmukan määrittävä piirre. Kosketus vihollisiin tai heidän ammuksiinsa (kuten kivet, laserit tai tulipallot) johtaa elämän menetykseen.
\n\nKoska kyseessä on alun perin kolikkopelialustoille julkaistu pääpeli, tähän peruskokemukseen ei ole tällä hetkellä listattu virallisia ladattavia sisältöpaketteja (DLC) tai laajennuksia.

No one has ever been able to say just why Bubble Bobble is so much fun, but its mixture of cute baby dinosaurs, candy, and bubbles should give those new to the game an idea. Battle your way through over 100 levels of frantic bubble mayhem. Capture your enemies in bubbles then pop them with your spiky back to clear each stage. Find your way to the bottom of the 100-level cave and save a damsel in distress. Fortunately, if you've never experienced the glee for yourself, all of those elements are back in force in Bubble Bobble Old & New for Game Boy Advance. The game closely follows the original Bubble Bobble arcade classic, but splices together two gaming generations while employing the same graphics and gameplay structure as the original. It also took inspiration from the sequel, Rainbow Islands released in 1989.

Classic Bubble Bobble is a remake of the original Bubble Bobble on the Game Boy Color platform.

Miss Bubble II is an adult bootleg/hack of "Bubble Bobble". It features 100 single screen levels with photographic semi-nude images for backgrounds. The background changes every three levels. The player takes on the role of one of two yellow and green colored mice. Armed only with the ability to blow bubbles and jump, the objective is to trap and kill all of your enemies within the bubbles to advance to the next stage. The bubbles can also be used as temporary platforms, to help the mice reach previously inaccessible areas of a level. If a player is touched by an enemy then the player dies. Any trapped enemies who are not killed quickly enough will turn red and escape their bubble prison. These angry enemies are much faster than before, making them harder to kill. Enemies also become angry if players are taking too long to complete a level. Defeated enemies are turned into bonus fruit items that can be collected for points. On many levels, special bubbles appear such as water filled bubbles appear. These can be burst by players to release their contents and destroy enemies. The water bubble releases a torrent of water that will quickly flow down the platforms to the bottom of the screen. Any enemies caught in the flow are killed. Bubbles containing letters also appear. The aim is to collect the letters needed to spell the word along the side of the screen. Once the player loses all of his lives the game is over. Upon continuing, all remaining enemies return to their un-angered forms.

Bubble Bobble is a platform game, with each level being a single screen. The enemies must be cleared from a level to go to the next one. With one player controlling Bub and the other controlling Bob, the player can jump and collect items for points (such as fruit). The real power Bub and Bob have however is the ability to blow bubbles. These bubbles can be as platforms to leap on, or to trap enemies. Enemies trapped in a bubble must be popped by jumping into them, wherein they'll turn to fruit. Additionally, power-ups sometimes float by in bubbles. They include lightning, which flies out horizontally at enemies, and water, which drags the player and enemies straight down flowing over platforms. Taking too long to complete any level will summon Baron Von Blubba, who will float around the screen trying to destroy the player.

The Sharp X68000 port of Bubble Bobble was developed by Dempa with MTJ's direct supervision. This version includes a hidden minigame called Sybubblun, which features an original set of very difficult levels, with the whole game being given a visual motif to resemble the Arcade game Syvalion.

Bubble Bobble 2 is a hack for the Amstrad CPC port of Bubble Bobble by someone going by U.W. representing Saturn-Soft a made up developer name. The game is the same as the first except you play as the blue dinosaur this time. Oh and the levels are harder! More complex! and sometimes tell you to give up!

This is an enhanced port of the original version for the SEGA Master System/Mark III. The game now has 200 levels, new items like the peacock feather, blue book, and a blue crystal chalice have been added, and there are also 2 new mini-boss fights. The game also has hidden rooms which allows players to rack up bonus points and find items that are needed to see the best ending. The endings themselves have been changed to be a bit more cinematic. Super Bubble Bobble is a mode in the original version that happened after the player beat the original set of levels and had to beat them again with the enemies being swapped around. Beating this would allow the player to see the true ending. This version of the game lacks this mode as the 200 levels are considered one playthrough.
