Update 15.3 has officially dropped for World of Warships, bringing the heavy-hitting Soviet battleship Sibir to the Armory and kicking off construction for the German destroyer ZH-1 in the Dockyard. This patch isn't just about new steel; it also introduces a significant visual overhaul to the Armory's commander management system.
The headline for many will be the ZH-1 Dockyard. Players can now begin the multi-stage process of constructing this Tier IX German destroyer. Known for its versatile layout and competitive torpedo armament, the ZH-1 represents a solid goal for players looking to bolster their fleet through consistent gameplay and mission completion. Alongside this, the Sibir (Project 24) makes its debut. This Soviet behemoth is available for Doubloons or via the Premium Shop, offering the high-velocity ballistics and tanking capabilities typical of high-tier Soviet battleships.
The Armory has received much-needed attention in this patch. The Commanders category has been completely refreshed with better filtering options. It is now significantly easier to distinguish between Unique, Seasoned, and Special Commanders, which is a massive quality-of-life win for players managing deep rosters. Additionally, Liberty Harbor containers have been added to the Coal section. Completing this collection rewards you with Commander Thomas Kincaid, whose enhanced skills provide a distinct edge for American cruiser and destroyer builds.
Minor logistical changes have also been implemented to clean up the interface. Port slots have been tucked away into the Customization category, and several signal bundles have been removed to streamline the shop experience. With Golden Week preparations also underway, Update 15.3 focuses on rewarding long-term progression while cleaning up the systems we use every day to manage our fleets.
