The core of this update focuses on "Relaying" and "Modulating," two systems designed to transition your hard-earned T86 gear into the new T91 tier. By using the Relaying Stone: Vanguard, players can convert their current equipment while maintaining their progress, which is a huge relief for anyone worried about their previous investments becoming obsolete overnight. The new Modulating system then steps in as a specialized enhancement path specifically for this Relaid Gear.
Everstone Studio is also aggressively streamlining the more frustrating aspects of the grind. Tuning and Retuning costs for T91 gear are being slashed, and the materials required will be much easier to acquire. Perhaps the most impactful change for build diversity is the introduction of "Formless Penetration." This new stat replaces specific penetration types, meaning you won't have to hunt for niche stats just to make a build viable against certain enemy types.
For those of us who have felt the sting of bad RNG, the Attuning system is finally getting a "guarantee" counter. This pity mechanic ensures that after a certain number of re-attuning attempts, you'll get the result you're looking for. A similar visible counter is being added to Tier 91 Legendary Archery Jades, which also receive new 2-piece set bonuses to further refine your combat style.
Looking ahead to the second half of Season 3, the character level cap will increase to Lv.95. The developers have stated this is intended to stabilize the gear lifespan, ensuring that T91 equipment remains the gold standard for a longer period rather than being immediately replaced. It’s a smart move that gives the meta room to breathe while players master the new martial arts and magic combinations without the constant pressure of a gear treadmill.
