The biggest mechanical shift involves how your hard-earned Tome Points transition between seasons. Moving forward, a maximum of 2,000 Tome Points will roll over to the next season. Any points exceeding this cap will be automatically converted into gold when Update 50 hits. To help players who might have hoarded points during the early rollout, ZeniMax is offering a one-time refund window from April 2 through April 30, allowing you to convert unspent points back into Caches for later use.
For those of us who tend to forget to click 'claim' before a season resets, a new End of Season Reward Auto-Claimer is in the works. This system will automatically spend your remaining points on the most valuable rewards available, prioritizing the Premium track first. It’s a solid quality-of-life addition that respects the time you put into those daily and weekly challenges.
Looking ahead to Update 50—slated for the PTS on April 13 and a live launch in June—several significant buffs to the grind are coming:
- Gold Rerolls: You will be able to use gold to reroll Challenges, offering a way to bypass tasks that don't fit your playstyle.
- Double Progress: Weekly Challenge completion limits will double once you've unlocked bonus pages.
- Simultaneous Progression: Tome Points will now progress all owned Premium Tomes at the same time, removing the need to choose which one to focus on.
Fixes for broken Challenges are also on the immediate horizon, with an incremental patch expected around April 20 to address current progression blockers. These adjustments show that while Season Zero is a testing ground, the developers are actively listening to how the community interacts with the new meta of seasonal progression.
