The most significant fix addresses a major headache for base builders: storage persistence. Previously, custom names on Chests and Wardrobes would vanish into thin air once a player moved out of rendering range. This hotfix ensures those labels stay put, which is a massive quality-of-life win for anyone managing large stockpiles or organized squad loot rooms. No more guessing which crate holds the ammo and which holds the snacks.
Radiation mechanics are also seeing a much-needed balance pass. A cap has been implemented on item contamination to prevent infinite irradiation loops. This change is crucial for the meta, as it finally allows players to effectively decontaminate their gear rather than being forced to discard items that were previously stuck in a permanent radioactive state. It makes high-tier loot runs into irradiated zones far more sustainable for the long term.
Technical stability and visual clarity received attention as well. The developers have ironed out several graphical glitches, specifically removing the distracting black borders on various weapon scopes and fixing emblem displays on cosmetic items. More importantly, a specific server crash triggered by double-clicking the grab button within the cooking UI has been neutralized. If you've been avoiding the kitchen for fear of crashing your favorite server, it’s finally safe to head back to the stove. There is also a terrain fix in Sector B4 to prevent players from getting stuck in the environment, further refining the navigation in that zone.
