If you've been running a "maxed-out" build on the E11-SR or the Logicer, you're going to feel the weight in this update. The new system calculates penalties based on your specific attachment configuration. While a naked rifle keeps you agile, a fully kitted FR-MG-0 or Shotgun will now noticeably drag on your stamina and movement speed. It’s a classic trade-off: do you want the raw DPS and stability of a heavy build, or the mobility needed to outrun a pursuing SCP-049?
Beyond the weapon balance, the environment is getting a bit of a facelift. Northwood Studios has integrated the winning entries from the 2024 and 2025 Art Contests into the Class-D cellblock. It’s a nice touch that keeps the facility feeling lived-in, even if those walls are usually covered in blood five minutes into a round.
On the technical side, the team is laying groundwork for the future with the "FastResources" system. This is designed to streamline upcoming Unity version updates, which should eventually lead to better stability. Speaking of stability, this patch moves Preauth to a separate thread, which is a massive win for server performance. We’re also seeing a long list of bug fixes, ranging from fixing spectator fog glitches to stopping SCP-106 from clipping through objects where he shouldn't.
For the admins out there, the Remote Admin (RA) UI just got a lot more functional. The new spawn wave UI includes a pause button, giving moderators much finer control over the flow of the match. And for the fans of the weird stuff: Anti-SCP-207 has officially been re-added to the loot pool. Stay safe in the dark, and watch your stamina bars.
