While a delay is never ideal for those of us eager to pilot our own Tramplers across the Austro-Hungarian frontier, the team is using the extra time to tackle some of the game's more complex systems. The focus has shifted heavily toward server and client performance optimization—critical for a game where massive walking bases clashing in a desert can easily tank frame rates if not handled correctly. They are also refining disconnect handling to ensure players don't lose their hard-earned loot to a bad connection.
The update isn't all technical hurdles, though. The developers are actively expanding the world with a new island called Raumnadel and introducing the EB “Vita” revolver to the arsenal. We’re also seeing a much-needed rework of armor tiers and the implementation of an anti-cheat system, which is essential for any PvP survival loop. Perhaps most importantly for the meta, the team is specifically addressing the "tower meta" to ensure base-building remains balanced and tactical rather than exploitative.
AI is also getting a glow-up. The "Upiors"—the creepy mobs guarding the ruins—are receiving significant logic improvements to make scavenging more of a calculated risk than a chore. If you're itching to get your hands on the game despite the delay, keep an eye out for an upcoming "server slam" event. This interim test will likely be our best chance to see how the new physics optimizations and AFK detection systems hold up under pressure before the final launch date is set.
