Moon Studios is leaning hard into community feedback by completely reworking the KBM layouts. The update renames and adjusts existing schemes to feel more intuitive for the ARPG genre. Most notably, the default bindings have been shifted: Run is now mapped to SHIFT and Parry to the Middle Mouse Button (MMB). These changes should make the visceral, timing-based combat feel much more responsive during those high-stakes encounters where a misclick means a trip back to the whisper.
A significant addition for tactical movement is the new "Move to Cursor" functionality. Defaulted to the CTRL key on combined layouts, this feature allows for the kind of precise positioning that isometric veterans expect. It solves the awkwardness of navigating tight environments or distancing yourself from a boss's telegraph by giving you direct control over your character's pathing via the mouse.
The update also brings a major quality-of-life improvement to the Hard Lock system. You no longer need to hold down the binding to keep your focus on an enemy; engaging the lock is now a simple toggle. This is a huge relief for your fingers during longer boss fights in the Crucible, allowing you to focus on dodging and attacking rather than wrestling with your inputs.
Speaking of the Crucible, the Seneschal now features a Sell menu. This is a small but vital change that means fewer trips back to town and more time spent actually playing. The patch also squashes several bugs, including a frustrating issue where KBM rebindings wouldn't save and a UI glitch that messed with bounty target altitude indicators. Itโs clear Moon Studios is moving fast to polish the experience as the "Together" update continues to evolve.
