The Hive's greatest champion is back. Crota's End will be available in both Normal and Challenge difficulties starting January 3, 2026. For veteran players, this Gauntlet Op is where the endgame truly begins in Destiny: Rising. The Challenge mode will, of course, host a World First race. This time, the winning team gets a unique reward: the right to choose which of three potential characters receives an exclusive set of 'Crota-style Ornaments' that will later be available for purchase. This is a brilliant way to tie the community’s highest achievers directly into the game's aesthetic progression and meta.

Who is Kabr, the Resolute, and Why Does He Matter Now?

The Season of Providence isn't just about raiding; it's about reinforcing the defenses of humanity during this fragile Dark Age. All players will receive the new character, Kabr, the Resolute, for free simply by completing his seasonal event. Kabr’s presence in this era—the early days of The City—is a huge lore drop, fundamentally tied to establishing defenses. This leads directly into the new game mode: Bulwark Ops. This is a permanent tower defense PvE activity where you deploy and upgrade Black Armory Towers to hold the line against waves of alien forces. Finally, players can look forward to the Exotic Scout Rifle, Symmetry, arriving in the seasonal pass.
