Following the chaos of the Nightfall season, the Dagger 1-3 Raiders are getting a significant boost to their operational efficiency. The headline change is a total overhaul of the progression curve. If you felt the grind was a bit sluggish, you’ll be happy to know the XP curve is being accelerated. Mastery XP will now be tied more directly to usage, and REDSEC rewards are pivoting to value your time spent in the field more heavily. It’s a smart move that respects the grind without making it feel like a second job.
The creative community is getting a major win with the new Portal Gadget. This feature gives creators granular control over custom logic triggers, essentially opening the floodgates for more complex and unique community-driven modes. Whether you're building tactical realism scenarios or chaotic vehicle derbies, the logic tools are becoming significantly more robust.
Battle Royale players can expect a tighter loop in the Hunter/Prey phase. The Traverser Mark 2 is returning, though it’s been stripped of its weapons to focus purely on mobility. To keep the pacing intense, armor plate drop rates are being increased, and the Sledgehammer is getting a buff to its wall-destruction capabilities—perfect for flushing out Pax Armata campers. Additionally, the ping system is finally getting the reliability pass it needs, specifically for tagging vehicles and drones, which should make squad coordination much smoother in high-stakes firefights.
Between the progression buffs and the technical fixes, Phase 3 looks like it’s focusing on the right friction points. We'll see how the meta shifts when the update drops on April 14th.
