For those of us grinding through the 2027 conflict against Pax Armata, the most important metric here is the Match Infection Rate (MIR). This represents the percentage of matches where a cheater was actually present. While the MIR peaked at a frustrating 5.01% on February 15th, the mid-month security updates clearly had an impact. By February 25th, that number plummeted to a floor of 2.30%, meaning your chances of facing an aimbotting PMC operative have more than halved.
The report confirms that the security team is currently tracking 226 specific cheat-related programs. Perhaps most impressively, 96.01% of these programs are currently reporting feature failures or total downtime. In a game where squad synergy and tactical positioning are everything, having a level playing field is the difference between a rewarding victory and a lobby-quitting experience.
While no anti-cheat is a silver bullet, these metrics suggest that the EA Javelin system is staying ahead of the meta. Seeing the MIR drop toward the end of the month is a good sign for the health of ranked play and large-scale warfare. As Pax Armata continues to destabilize the globe in the campaign, it's good to know the real-world destabilizers are being kept in check.
