Metroid Confrontation 2: Return to SR388 is a 2018 modification (Mod) for the NES, heavily inspired by Metroid 2 and AM2R. You experience a complete overhaul of the original game, featuring entirely new graphics, maps, text, and music, all built using the Editroid program. This project offers fans a familiar 8-bit action-exploration loop set on SR388, but with a distinct visual and structural presentation derived from its Game Boy source material.
