Mario Adventure III is a fan-made modification (Mod) built upon the foundation of *Super Mario Bros. 3*, offering a new 2D platforming challenge for the NES. The story tasks Mario with clearing the "Malice Mushroom" infestation from Bowser's Kingdom to prevent a war with the Mushroom Kingdom.
