About Knuckles' Emerald Hunt
This 2015 Mod, built on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, shifts gameplay from speed to exploration, mimicking the Emerald Hunting from later Sonic titles. You play as Knuckles or Tikal, using an SA2-style radar to find three hidden Emeralds per stage, including the scrapped Hidden Palace Zone. A unique feature is the secret Sandwich Mode, where collectibles are humorously replaced with sandwiches and a Footlong.
