About Gothic 1 Remake
This is a full Remake of the classic Role-Playing Game, set in the Kingdom of Myrtana where you navigate the dangerous Khorinis prison colony extracting magical ore amidst an orc invasion. Gameplay preserves the original's challenging, deliberate combat and faction-based progression, modernized with a complete visual and audio overhaul for current platforms (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S). It aims for high fidelity to the original's atmosphere and structure, focusing on high-stakes decisions and earned reputation within a harsh social system. Scheduled for release on June 5th, 2026.
