Call of Duty: Black Ops - Escalation is a 2011 DLC expansion requiring the base game, adding five new maps: four competitive multiplayer arenas (Hotel, Convoy, Zoo, Stockpile) set in diverse global locations, and the cooperative Zombies map "Call of the Dead," which introduces new playable characters portrayed by horror film stars battling the undead in a Siberian outpost.
