Previously codenamed Canis Majoris, The Witcher Remake is being built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. It is being developed by the Polish studio Fool's Theory, in collaboration with veteran staff from The Witcher series, and is still in development.

The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf was an enhanced and expanded port of the 2007 PC only game The Witcher. Developed by Widescreen Games, the game was to have a new engine and a wealth of other differences. It has since been cancelled.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition – Platinum Edition is an upgraded physical release of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, distributed on 2 DVDs and fully patched to version 1.5. What sets this edition apart is its wealth of bonus content and additional scenarios, making it the most complete version of the game available. In addition to the two official adventures from the Enhanced Edition (The Price of Neutrality and Side Effects), this release includes five fan-made scenarios: Blight of Bogs, Deceits, Wraiths of the Quiet Hamlet, The Wedding, and Merry Witchmas. These extra modules, available in English and Polish (subtitles only), add several hours of new gameplay. The Platinum Edition removes all DRM, allowing the game and the D’jinni Adventure Editor to run without the disc. It also includes voiceovers and subtitles in nine languages, with the option to mix audio and subtitle languages independently. A second DVD contains rich bonus content: a 204-page artbook in PDF format, multiple official game guides and manuals in several languages, exclusive artwork and wallpapers, character avatars, walkthroughs for the fan-made adventures, and four music collections including the full official soundtrack. It also includes fun extras like a behind-the-scenes video and April Fools bonus material. This edition is ideal for collectors and fans seeking the most extensive and DRM-free version of the original Witcher experience.

Based on the novels by a popular Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher is an action-oriented, epic fantasy RPG that takes players on a journey through a world which in many ways mirrors our own. Take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster hunter, as he embarks on a quest of self-discovery and revenge. The game's time-delayed decision-consequence system ensures that the consequences of your choices will become apparent only in the following chapters of Geralt's story, discouraging returns to a previous save point. The Enhanced Edition includes technical and gameplay improvements that bring shorter loading times, more natural animations, and improved inventory, among others. Two new adventures titled The Price of Neutrality and Side Effects will extend players' enjoyment of the game. Finally, the "D'jinni Adventure Editor" enables players to create their adventures and shared them with others.

Side Effects is a fully voiced premium module for The Witcher, created by CD PROJEKT RED. It was released on September 16, 2008 as part of the The Witcher: Enhanced Edition.

The Price of Neutrality is a premium module for The Witcher, created by CD PROJEKT RED and released on April 10, 2008, together with the D'jinni Adventure Editor. The original adventure required Patch 1.3 to work, but had no voice acting. The next patch, version 1.4 or The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, added Side Effects premium module, and voice acting for both modules. While the plot itself is new, the locations were originally meant to be included in the main game, but were cut from the final version.
